Dr. Ehsanollah Kabir is a burning candle of ethics and knowledge, whose unwavering commitment to integrity and excellence lights the path for others. His profound wisdom and ethical guidance inspire those around him.
Dr. Ehsanollah Kabir is a professor of Electrical Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University. Born on November 1, 1958, in Tehran, Iran. His research interests include document image analysis and cultural heritage technology. He was my master’s thesis advisor and my doctoral advisor. My master’s thesis focused on Persian OCR, and for my doctoral studies, I worked on target tracking in video for normal behavior detection.
Dr. Lotfizad is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University.
He was my PhD thesis advisor, and his research interests focus on adaptive filters.
S.M. Hosseini completed his master’s degree under the supervision of Dr. Hadi Sadoghi Yazdi at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. During two years as the head of the Pattern Recognition Lab, he led more than ten applied projects. As a co-founder of Aitrends (aitrends.ir), he focuses on processing online data such as images, text, audio, and sensor data, integrating it with AI hardware. His main expertise lies in machine learning and deep neural networks, working to advance AI-driven applications in real-time environments.

Dr. Soheila Ashkezari-T is an Assistant Professor and researcher in machine learning and artificial intelligence at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences, Department of Computer Science, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. She specializes in adaptive filtering, distributed processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning. Her extensive research includes developing distributed learning algorithms for graph networks and advancing spectral clustering techniques for graph analysis. She earned his Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Artificial Intelligence from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, under the supervision of Prof. Sadoghi Yazdi.
Currently, she is interested in graph neural networks (GNNs) and their applications, particularly in analyzing biomedical signals, social network data analysis, and other innovative applications of GNNs.
Ehsan Shams is an accomplished AI expert with a background in artificial intelligence, specializing in this field since 2017. He has played a pivotal role in developing various AI products across diverse teams, driven by his deep passion for the subject. Ehsan’s contributions extend to research, where he has published several papers based on his hands-on experience. Reza Izanloo is an accomplished AI expert with a background in adaptive filters (especially Kalman Filter), specializing in this field since 2016. Now, he reserachs on AI tools to enhance different jobs as an AI specialist in his Academy named Hoosh_Amigh. And also he works in North Khorasan Electrical Power Distribution Company as a manager of information and Security office. He earned his Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, under the supervision of Prof. Sadoghi Yazdi.

Dr. Atieh Gharib is an expert AI researcher with a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran, under the supervision of Prof. Sadoghi Yazdi. She specializes in Machine Learning, Statistical Learning Theory, Pattern Recognition, and Deep Learning. Kazem Shekofteh is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Computer Engineering at Heidelberg University. His research interests focus on GPU computing, performance analysis of parallel programs and high performance computing in Bioinformatics. Previously, he was an assistant professor at Shandiz Institute of Higher Education, Mashhad, Iran. He got his PhD and MSc degree from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran in 2019. In late 2016, he was awarded a visiting scholarship at Heidelberg University. He has published papers in outstanding journals such as IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems. He has been serving as co-chair for the Workshop on IoT, Edge, and Mobile for Embedded Machine Learning (ITEM) 2022/23, student volunteer co-chair for IEEE CLUSTER 2022, program committee member for CCGRID2023, ICPP 2023, CANDAR 2023, poster committee member for SC2023, and also frequently providing reviews for established journals, such as IEEE TPDS, JPDC, and Supercomputing. Mohammad GhasemiGol is currently a research assistant professor in the School of Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University. Before, he was a research assistant professor at University of North Dakota and associate researcher at Imperial College London. He is also served as an assistant professor of computer engineering at the University of Birjand, since 2016. He was the IT director and the director of the Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) at the University of Birjand for more than five years.
His research is focused on various aspects of AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity including incident handling, intrusion detection and response system, insider threats, alert management, clustering and classification methods, deep learning, safe learning, explainable AI algorithms, and biomedical data analysis. Dr. Malihe Javidi received all degrees from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (FUM) as a distinguished student. She admitted as a direct graduate student to FUM. Javad Hamidzadeh is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Engineering at Sadjad University. He is also the director of the Secure Intelligent Systems (SIS) Lab at Sadjad University. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Artificial Intelligence under the consultant of Prof. Sadoghi Yazdi from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2012. Ali Mehrizi earned his Ph.D. under the supervision of Professor Hadi Sadoghi Yazdi at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. He is currently a lecturer in the Computer Engineering Department at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. His areas of expertise include distributed adaptive learning, probabilistic hypothesis-based learning, and time series analysis.
Dr. Karimpour is an Assistant Professor at the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute. Prior to this role, he was the Manager and Assistant Research Profesor at the Center for Applied Transportation Science at the University of Arizona. He graduated from The University of Arizona with a Ph.D. degree in Transportation Engineering. His research interests are Traffic Operation and Safety, Traffic signal Optimization, Data Analytics, Public Transportation, and Smart Cities Transportation. Mohammad Ali Majidi is a Ph.D. candidate in Artificial Intelligence at the Faculty of Computer Engineering, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. His research interests span adaptive filtering and model-based learning methods, including Bayesian filters and Kalman filters. Under the guidance of Professor Hadi Sadoghi Yazdi, both during his master’s and Ph.D. studies, Majidi has focused on developing novel algorithms for adaptive systems and their applications in intelligent systems.
